FREE EFT Stuff
The intent of this page is to make you aware of where you can find the best “free stuff” about EFT that is out there. I did not realize what a HUGE task that would become as the EFT world grew and changed. There are now too many sites to count that offer “free” newsletters and audios and video samples and to make it even more complicated the sites change. Some are good, some are mediocre and some are just plain awful!
So I have given up this noble cause to others. However, I would like to mention some of my personal favorites:
www.PatsTreasureIsland.com – Dr. Patricia Carrington is a pioneer in EFT. She has worked to gather the best of the EFT “freebies” and offers them on her site. She also reviews and gives a critique of what she considers the best EFT products out there. This is a very helpful site as the myraid of products concerning EFT now is confusing. She would, of course, like you to buy something (as all you web site owners out there know, web sites can get expensive to set up and maintain) but it is not a requirement.
www.EFTfree.net This site offers excellent articles and an opportunity to contribute your own article. Their downloadable “EFT Free Manual” is one of the better introductory manuals out there. The only “advertising” on the entire site is about the sponsor’s workshops – which given they are qualified excellent trainers is not really a bad thing.
www.EFTMastersWorldWide.com This is the EFT Master’s web site. You can sign up for a newsletter that comes out every once in awhile - certainly not sending you stuff every couple of days - and the newsletter always contains a useful EFT freebie and a “Tap Along” script. There have some very informative articles AND all of their articles from Gary Craig’s now defunct web site are reprinted there as well. Granted, I am a btg prejudiced as I edit the newsletter :-).
www.EFTWords.com ”How do I know what words to say when I am tapping?” is one of the most common newbie questions. No matter how often I reiterate the reality that you just say what you are feeling at the time, people still seem to want a script. This site enables you to just pick your “feeling” and, magically, up comes suggested words to say. While I don’t always agree with the “words” at least it enables people to get started.
www.EFTUnited.com This site is the US version of aamet.org and enables people to see what it would take to be certified in EFT by AAMET. www.EFTcert.com makes the requirements very clear.
www.MeridianTappingTechniques.com This site also has a great free downloadable manual. Again, I’ll admit I’m a bit prejudiced since I wrote it!
www.EnergyPsych.org – This is the ACEP (Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology) site. They have an excellent certification program in general energy psychology and after Gary Craig retired, his daughter, Tina, joined with ACEP to offer a certification in EFT.
Certification Programs: People often ask me about certification in EFT. My answer is always the same. Be clear as to why you want certification. How will it change your business? If you already have a license and only use EFT as a part of your work you probably don’t need it. Whatever EFT training you receive the most important part is the quality and qualification of your trainer. Anyone, and I do mean anyone, can choose to set up a certification program in EFT. Gary gave EFT to the world. I believe that certification programs should be from established, democratically run, professional organizations. When any program is run by an individual there is always the chance of it going away or changing in ways that are no longer what you bought into at first. While there are several private certifications out there, which may or not be quality, based on my criteria of established, democratic and professional, I can only recommend the ACEP and the AAMET certification programs.
